    I didn’t know that USB port could be used for playing audio files off flash drives and iPods, I assume the port was used only for upgrading the firmware on the radio.

    I’m sure I saw these at Dick Smith yesterday, I think they’re available in a few different colurs. They also had the Chronos II which appears to be simillar to this one, I don’t know what the differences are between toe 2, I don’t believe Dick Smith had the Chronos CD or Chronos iDock. I’m not sure about these DAB+ Clock radios, I have a Pure ONE Classic which I’m quite happy with, it can be used as an alarm clock.

    sorry, i guess you’re right. i just assumed that if you had a mini USB cord adapter for iPods you could attach it but i’m not entirely sure.

    I’d like to see a video proving it then because no where on pure’s website OR in the instruction manuel for the radio does it state you can connect an iPod to the USB socket.

    yes, but it can be used to play multi-media players, like iPods, if you have a mini USB cable. There is an external wire for DAB reception, but the FM/AM wire is internal.

    er, the usb port is to enable you to upgrade the radios software, I know cause I have one and have used the usb socket for this purpose. Also mine has a wire arial on it for dab reception.
