I need an FM transmitter to broadcast iTunes from my PC to various home radios in other rooms.?

Which specific makes/models currently provide the best quality and are most trouble-free? Cost is less of a concern than quality and ease of installation. Thanks.

They all kind of stink. Trying to get them to broadcast to other rooms… well, I don’t think you’ll find one. At least not one that is legal. They’re really meant for 6 feet or less.

  2. Most FM transmitters work for only a few feet and are intended for use in cars, but you may be able to find one that works. Considering that broadcasting over a certain power level is illegal, don’t be alarmed if you get a pleasant visit from the FCC if you use an actual transmitter.

  3. Most are intended for use in cars, however you might be able to get one transmitting at the distance and frequency you require.
    Search around on eBay, that’s where I got mine.
