I just replaced my alternator and voltage regulator, now my fm radio is weak?

I have a 1986 Ford LTD,and I just replaced the alternator and voltage regulator. I have one of those old AM/FM dial radios. After I swapped out those two electrical components, my FM signal pickup is very weak. I used be able to pick up about twenty stations, now I can pick up one, and only when the car is idling. After I stop idling, I lose the station mostly, and the static revs up with the motor. Any ideas?

something in your wiring is either
crossed or touching…

  3. The static rev up sound, usually called "storing", it caused by some kind of elektromagnetic wave. From the electric current effect a wire that the isolation is not good anymore. The wild electrical wave could be hold by using anti-storing, small thing like wedding ring box. For the signal receiver, it caused by the electromagnetic wave, it become a jammer. Ur fresh alternator and battery are caused of that happen and can’t be hold by wire isolation that become worn. And also please check ur plug wire for same reason.
