I Just bought one …
I Just bought one and i love this thing. Don’t know what everybody is talking about but mine works great. If you don’t live in a city then yes you need to get an antenna for it and it will work great. Mine cuts in and out every now and then driving around town but i do not have any type of antenna hooked up to it. Can’t find a kar kit for it right now, every place i have checked online are sold out. I have it connected right to my radio and sitting in my cup holder. The sound is great!!

I work for SIRIUS XM…and I assure you…the Stilleto 2 is a shame on SIRIUS…
they go bad quickly… most of Customers has to warranty replace it like 3 or 4 times every 6 months at least….

Get a slacker …
Get a slacker player then you do not need all the cables and crap that you need with Sirius. I love my slacker player. My kids use it and my wife. The sound quality blows away Sirius. I was with Sirius for 6 years and i will never go back.

thanks i didnt think about that. i have the cheaper one for my car and every time i go to the gas station it loses signal becuase of the roof. it would be pointless to have one of these when you cant use it inside.

DO NOT GET A STELLATO 2 They are shit, i am on my 4th in 2 weeks. The sound qulity is shit! You can get a iphone and get a app to get sirius and it will be cheaper and sound 100x better. The reviewer does not take it out side and tell you that you need to use huge head phones that only get you 1 bar and does not work 99% of the time. I would just get a MP3 player and be happy. WIFI works great and sound great if you pay them 3$ more if not its point less. These are JUNK just goole them.

Good review, thanks. I have been a sirius subscriber for years.. For the most part it’s decent. But I can’t stand some of the yappy DJs, and they seem to have high repeats on some of their channels. Although lately this has changed??
Also don’t like Mel K running the joint. I think his sole concern is the XM merger and not creating a better service.
And while I like Howard Stern I think they grossly overpaid for him. Plus to run the ads is insulting.

Good review I have service and was considering the personal portable device but see it will not be a choice to replace the car unit. As a company driver the truck doesn’t have a plug to use the trucks audio to listen to the satellite so I have to carry a boom box type to place on the seat b/c the receiver will not allow a headphone to listen with you have to have a amplifier to do this with. The fm b/caster is not strong enough to p/u on the truck stereo. The line of sight thing is what kills it
